The words to this song always hit me every time I listen to them. Just the beginning itself, “I can walk through the storm, I can walk by faith when my sight is gone,” captures so much emotion–so much hope. Even the way that this piece is sung sends shivers down my spine; the vocals have an eery, desperate, soulful tone to them. Each time I listen to and internalize this song, it moves me.
