Ballroom at Brooklyn College
Looking for something electrifying to do during common hours? Well then the Brooklyn College ballroom dance club is the ideal place for you. This club meets on Tuesdays from 12:30-2:00 p.m. and is led by James Repetti. James, an experienced ballroom dancer, who teaches the group the basics of hip movement and the fundamental steps to all ballroom dances such as cha cha, waltz, rumba and many more, at a pace so that everyone can easily learn the steps, even those who claim to not be able to dance. Therefore the ballroom club allows one to get to know their own abilities and to presents students with an opportunity to meet other students that they may not have otherwise encountered
Practicing the cha cha at ballroom club
Attending this club will not only bring excitement to your free time but will also make you feel like a pro. In that case, you can also join the Ballroom competition. Being part of the competition provides one with an adrenalin rush and elicits a passion for dancing. This group meets on Thursdays and Sundays. In addition, on behalf of these organizations, James hosts special events such as the Thanksgiving Social Party. Lastly, if you still haven’t had enough ballroom dancing in your schedule then you may also join the class. All in all, Ballroom in Brooklyn College is one of the many enjoyable activities in which you can take part in and will certainly enjoy.
