Many people refer to America as a cultural melting pot, blending together every culture it holds to create one large ethnic community. When immigrants come to America, they do their best to assimilate into normal American culture. However, the culture and traditions that are carried over from the home country and preserved are what makes America the communal melting pot that it is today. Here, we take a look at the culture of South Korea, and how it has been preserved here in America, as well as how it has become a prominent part in the melting pot culture we call “American.”
