This crossroad felt tranquil as it was less commercialized. Viewing it from a distance, we thought the military base was a public school due to its architecture and the flag pole with the American flag on it. It’s sad that the intimidating look of the military base can be confused with that of a public school. It is unfortunately a reflection of the NYC public school system.
