When we first arrived at 181st Street and Broadway, we were greeted by a woman outside the T-Mobile store at the corner screaming at an employee inside the store. The traffic lights helped us safely take pictures, although the southern side of the intersection was hectic because people were walking towards the George Washington Bridge Market on 179th Street. We visited the relocated Holyrood Church on 179th Street that Victor Lavalle mentioned in his memoir “Seeking.”
