Extracurricular research has exposed me to fieldwork and spatial information technology. The National Park Service and CUNY cosponsored a BioBlitz to catalogue organisms in the Jamaica Bay ecosystem of Brooklyn. Taking an inventory of urban wildlife, I worked with scientists to create a snapshot of biodiversity.
