Write a 2-3‐page essay on you/your family’s immigration history and integration experiences.
In this essay you should briefly discuss where you/your family came from, why you/your family immigrated to the United States, where you/your family have settled since, and what have been you/your family’s integration experience. The conclusion should address one of the following questions:
- How is you/your family’s history typical or “normative” and how is you/your family’s history unique?
- How well has your family integrated and what had made the integration process difficult or easy?
