Macaulay Magazine – “About Us” Section
Hello everyone!
As you already know, our magazine production is well under way, and each of us is looking for creative suggestions to include in our project. My group (Anna Zhuk, Katie Chiu, Clara Wilson, and I) is focusing on the “About Us” section, and in order to get the ball rolling, we would love involvement from the rest of you!
A few of our possible topics include a section about how the arts are involved in our class. For example, if you like to draw you can submit a piece of artwork that you have created, and the same goes for any other types of art that we make ourselves. Don’t be hesitant to get creative. With Margaret’s help, we might be able to include sound bites or video clips, so your horizons are not limited!
Another section is going to include quotes from each student, describing a little bit about who we are. Get creative with this one, too. Try to stay away from something generic, such as “I’m 18 years old. I go to Brooklyn College and I like pizza.” We want to make this section as interesting (and possibly humorous) as we can. As of right now, your quote should be short–at most a few sentences in length.
The site does not have a call category for our section yet, so everything should be sent to this email for now: about.us.macaulay@gmail.com. We hope to have everyone’s contribution by next Thursday so we can further continue this process.
