Pura Vida Dance Social Event
For those of you who wish to immerse yourselves in another culture for a few hours or looking to have a good time the Pura Vida Social could be the place for you. Every third Saturday of the month, rooms are rented out at Dance Manhattan NY,NY 10011 for a dancing party. With a $5 admissions fee for newcomers and regulars alike, this is the ideal place to learn how to dance Salsa, Bachata, merengue and more! People of all skill levels can partner up with anyone who is available to either learn, improve or just have fun dancing to a constant stream of popular Latin music.
Half way through the event, the dancing stops and all visitors join in one room to watch amazing performances from experts such as Cesar Cora and Tiffany Benson, Salsa partners, NY Touch a performing group and “Mambo Kid” Adriel. After being wowed by their nearly impeccable technique, you can hit the dance floor with renewed vigor until the wee hours of the morning. Just be sure your bus is running at the time you decide to leave, otherwise you’ll have to walk home.
