Banks
Jillian Banks is a 25-year-old artist from Los Angeles. Using her last name as her stage name, she became interested in writing music when, at the age of 15, a friend of hers gave her a toy keyboard as a gift. Since then she has been posting her music to a Soundcloud account, the only social media site she uses.
Her soft sound is captivating and addictive, perhaps the reason her music has had hundreds of thousands of listens in such a short amount of time. Wanting to keep in touch with fans, but not wanting to use social media, Banks gave out her cell phone number to fans, and replies to all phone calls and texts.
She has recently began touring, and was an opening act for The Weeknd on his Fall Tour. Banks has also recently released a video to her track “Warm Water” and has other videos for songs, such as “Waiting Game”.
