Below are the notes we took while visiting our site, each focusing on the sense we used to experience our environment. As ethnographers, it was our duty to utilize methods most accessible to our individual preferences in documenting observations. While walking around Downtown Brooklyn, some of us preferred to quickly jot down snapshots of the day, intending to write them up more comprehensively later on. Others initially took notes in their final form, stopping in middle of sidewalks to complete a thought and causing minor disruptions to surrounding pedestrians. Only the hasty notes are listed below; you can find more complete versions in the “Explore” section within the page dedicated to the sense you’re interested in experiencing. We hope you enjoy reading our work!
