Joanne Ramadani: Resident

Joanne Ramadani’s family has been in Bensonhurst for over a decade and she is a three year resident of Bay Parkway. 

When asked about how different ethnic groups interact with one another:

“I’d say it depends on the person—the younger residents tend to go explore everything, while the older residents tend to stick to their roots. The main place you’ll find a high rate of diversity is 86th st because it’s almost like a strip mall. You can probably compare it to Brighton Beach.”
