While you are participating in the BioBlitz, you may come across the spotted lanternfly, a species that poses a threat to plant life in our area. Here is information about the spotted lanternfly. If you see one, we recommend that you post an observation–this is good information for scientists to have–but also follow expert advice to stomp it out.
