For our 2021 Remote BioBlitz, please follow all city and state guidelines on vaccines, masks, social distancing, and COVID-19 protection. Never go out if you feel sick.
If you are unable to go outside, you can still participate from inside your home! Visit our Observing from Inside page for a list of possible observations you can make.
If you go out to make observations near you, we recommend you do the following:
- Get vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Wear a mask indoors and in crowded outdoor situations.
- Bring water.
- Bring hand sanitizer.
- Wear sunscreen and bug repellant.
- Dress for the weather. We recommend clothing that covers your feet, ankles, and legs, and wearing sturdy closed-toe shoes.
- Do not go into prohibited areas. Stick to walkways and paths.
- Never feed or handle wild animals.
- Do not pick or damage plants.
