A research paper of ten typewritten pages (text, not counting the cover page or the bibliography)  is required for the Seminar.

The topic for the research paper is to be one of the 15 New York City or New York State agencies listed below.

The 15 agencies are grouped into four policy areas.  After the research papers are submitted, the students writing within each of the four policy areas will then collaborate to develop a presentation about the problems and policy issues that will need to be addressed during the forthcoming decade in their policy area and how these are being addressed by the agencies and by other entities.

Part of your collaborative work will be to post research, news and/or events that are relevant to your policy area here on the website.

All of this research and digital work will lead to a presentation by each of the four groups during the Seminar Four Academic Conference at Macaulay on May 11th and 12th
