Music and Migration: Term Papers

I would love for your term paper to explicate the relationship between a particular music scene in New York City history, the ways that New York City and its people shaped this scene and perhaps the ways that the scene shaped migration to NYC. I am open to other possibilities (that you should discuss with me), so long as the paper draws upon some of the main course themes.
