Your First Assignment: Personal Migration History

Prepare a two-page (double-spaced) migration history of your family. If your parents or grandparents did not immigrate from abroad, try to find out when and why your family moved to NYC from other locales in the U.S. What was it like coming to this city? Experiences? Hardships? Benefits? Emotional journey?
