This is a simple snack for those who are interested in trying something zucchini-based and korean. It’ll take you less than an hour. (Not quite instant noodle instant, but instant enough).
Ingredients:
– 2 small zucchinis
– handful of chopped leeks (or what I call green onions)
– 3 cloves of garlic (crushed)
– 1/2 tsp sea salt
– 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
– 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
– 1 tbsp light soy sauce
– 1/2 tbsp chili powder (optional)
1. Wash and slice the zucchini into small slices (approximately 5 mm thick).
2. Put them into a bowl and add sea salt. Mix gently. Leave for approximately 30 minutes.
3. Mix the sesame and vegetable oil. Put pan on medium heat and add oil accordingly, 1/2 tbsp as needed.
4. Place the zucchini slices onto the pan. Leave for 2-3 minutes, and flip to cook both sides.
5. Put the zucchini slices into a bowl and add chopped leeks and crushed garlic. Add light soy sauce and chili powder (optional). Mix gently.
