Hi, my name is Mariya Tuchinskaya. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine but my family moved to New York City when I was only six years old. I am fluent in Russian, but ironically can’t speak Ukrainian. New York City is the place I call 
home, because most of my fondest memories were made here. I’m an only child so my family has pretty much placed all their hopes and dreams on me.
I’m still undecided about a major, but I’m considering business communications. I love traveling to different places, spending time with my friends and reading good books.
