Hey! I’m Eugena McCrann, Gena for short. I’m a member of the Class of 2016, and I go to Queens College. By that, I mean I spend most of my day in the Honors Lounge there. I do many things, most of which somehow relates to my fandoms. I guess that means I watch too much television. British television, mostly.

Anyways, I spend most of my time crying over Branson and Sybil from Downton Abbey, editing Wikipedia (character and episode articles mostly), checking up on the latest announcements and cast interviews (which relates to my Wikipedia work), wondering when George R.R. Martin will finish writing The Winds of Winter, typing up and reading theories, and wasting time on Tumblr.

I also knit, sometimes. I also try to write fiction, and I’m terrible at fanfiction so I don’t really bother with that. I read a lot but not as much as I want to. And it seems that I’ve fallen out of anime and manga, though certain series, like Baccano!, D.Gray-man, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, never leave me.

I hope that, one day, I’ll write a novel and publish it. Failing to become a novelist, I want to work in publishing, maybe as an editor. My parents, my dad especially, don’t think that’s realistic and have resigned themselves to having a pauper for a daughter. Harsh, I know. Recently, as of this post, I’ve decided to become a screenwriter. I’ve expanded my life goals the other day to include marrying an Irish, Scottish, or British actor (preferably Irish) after becoming a successful screenwriter. No, this has nothing to do with the absolutely gorgeous and wonderful Allen Leech.

  • This is (almost) never a spoiler free blog.
Fictional characters never stop breaking my heart. Here, I try to explain the overwhelming feelings I have for these characters and for the latest episodes, chapters, and what-not. And maybe I end up with a few semi-intelligent comments and observations in there sometimes.
