Jaedon was another very interesting guest. I always like to hear stories about artists who overcome challenges, be it financial or even emotional. In Jaedon’s case, it was similar to Geoffrey’s struggle of a lack of support at home. Jaedon discussed how his household was split between his supportive and not so supportive mother. Despite the lack of support, both Jaedon and Geoffrey found success in their art. I always talk about the artists’ passion for their work, but with Jaedon it was obvious. Jazz music has never been something to peak my interest, but Jaedon’s discussion made it seem somewhat more appealing and like something I would like. Something I’ve found with a lot of these guests is that after talking with them, I’ve decided to take a bit more of an interest in different forms art.
