This song has always spoken to me, and given today’s climate, the song’s message is even more important. The video showcased many unfortunate times including the event in Charlottesville and other protests. There has always been a tremendous amount of hate and division in the country. Still, this year truly put everything into perspective and put many issues under a microscope, whether that be political, racial, global, etc.
