Protest Art: Black Lives Matter Street Art

There’s video with nice shots. The Staten Island Ferry and Empire Outlets looks surprisingly pretty from above:

The first time I saw this art (at ground level) I didn’t realize what it was. “What’s this yellow stuff on the road…?” Admittedly, it took me a while to piece together what I was seeing. Obviously, the protest art is referring to the Black Lives Matter Movement which recently saw a rise in activity after the unspeakable events concerning George Floyd and a few others. I chose this piece of art because when I finally figured out what it said, it gave me hope that something good would come out of 2020.
