An image that speaks for itself. The suppression of gay rights has long been criticized for many years and to this day. Despite the massive amount of protests for LGBTQ rights, many have been shut down or not taken seriously because of many opinions saying that “they want attention” or “they don’t like regular people.” For someone who has plenty of gay friends and I believe the messages that are given off my protests are taken harshly or the other way. Many people think protests lead to violence, sure sometimes that the case but because of the constant suppression, some will take extensive action to get their points across. To further equalize traditional love life with gay lives, there must be a change in the minds of others.
