I thought that the visit by Geoffrey was one of the best ones we have had so far. Geoffrey talked primarily about painting and choreography throughout his visit, and I thought that both of these different aspects of the discussion were both really great and definitely engaging. First was the discussion about dance. Personally, I know absolutely nothing about dance and I have little to no interest in it. That being said, Geoffrey was a really good speaker who managed to make the discussion about something I find boring very interesting. Next was the discussion about painting, which I personally found to be a bit more interesting, primarily because I am more interested in that. That doesn’t mean that Geoffrey wasn’t also extremely skilled in discussing that. One of my favorite aspects of the discussion was definitely the discussion about the business aspect of the discussion. Personally, I felt that talking about when the art aspect took precedent in Geoffrey’s business versus how he dealt with the monetary component was really fascinating, and I definitely enjoyed the extent which it connected to our former discussions.
