I enjoyed having Jenny come in and talk to us about her experience with poetry. I reminded me of how I used to write poems for English classes in middle school. I stopped after a while, but I still respect the medium and those who partake in it. It was also nice to hear that while she didn’t initially intend to do poetry, Jenny still found success in the art, showing that as long as you care about something and dedicate time to it, you can succeed.
