I enjoyed having Jenny West as a guest speaker. It was refreshing to yet another artist who is able to live alongside their passions. Her paintings were very vibrant and pretty and I was impressed with her self-discipline when creating a piece. If we did not run out of time, I would have asked her how she deals with making art that she feels is not “good enough”. Whenever I try to make art, I often get deterred by that feeling.
