apple’s long-arm tactics

About Gregory

Gregory Donovan is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Psychology and a certificate candidate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York. He has held fellowships at The Center for Place, Culture, and Politics, the Macaulay Honors College, and The Stanton/Heiskell Center for Telecommunication Policy, and has conducted research at The CUNY New Media Lab, The Center for Human Environments, and with several children’s educational media groups.

His dissertation, entitled “MyDigitalFootprint.org: Informational Youth and the Securitization of Cyberspace,” is a participatory investigation into the political ecology of informational capitalism. Specifically, how the mutual shaping of informational development and young people’s development plays out in an increasingly securitized and privatized informational environment.
