Hi, My name is Henry Burby, and until the beginning of my college career, I had never attended a day of formal school in my life. I like to think that homeschooling has given me an interesting perspective on my home, New York City. I was born in Saint Vincent Hospital (Now gone, sadly…), and when I was three, our family moved from 125th and Broadway to the verdant pocket universe of Inwood. (Everything north of Dyckman Street.) Homeschooling allowed me to explore and roam a great deal of Manhattan, and I have spent a great amount of time in museums and other cultural institutions over the years. I am fascinated by the history of New York, and my knowledge of my city can be summed up in the fact that I still love it.
