This is a picture of me and my costars performing the last song in Dreamgirls last May! Doing these musicals had been a staple of my high school career and they helped shape who I am and who I want to be. Those were some of my best moments. Dreamgirls was the last show I did, and it was one of the most difficult and most rewarding. Music and Theatre will forever be part of who I am.

Presentation from Today
Hey guys! Just thought you would like to know the video me and Alex shared to you today. Here’s the link to that video:
And I would suggest checking out their other videos, too, namely their Daft Punk Medley and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. 🙂
Olivia Murphy
Hi there, I’m Olivia, or Liv as friends and family call me. I was born and raised in New York, first on the outskirts of the Upper East Side in all its refined metropolitan glamour (that my family, living in a cramped one room apartment in a walk-up, was distinctly not part of) and now in East Harlem, a beautiful, complex center of culture; highly feared but should be revered.
The only way to describe myself fully is as an appreciator of the human experience; reading about it, watching it, hearing it, feeling it and discussing it. I don’t love all of human nature, but love humanity, meaning I love to learn about culture and history, as well as social disorder. One day I hope I will either contribute to further enriching it through the arts, or helping to save it through social activism or political reform.
For right now, though, I just enjoy music, theater, musical theater (hah) and writing. As you might be able to tell I am undecided, but I’m looking to Social Work, Anthropology, Communications, etc-as well as the arts.
