Hi everyone! My name is Amber Dimaculangan, and I’m a freshman majoring in civil engineering at City College. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to pursue something in STEM, and eventually, my interests led me to the engineering field. I was born in Flushing, New York but have since moved to Bayside, and I have a great view of the water from my bedroom! My family is originally from the Philippines but moved to the U.S. in the mid-90’s. Unfortunately, I’m the only one who doesn’t understand or speak Tagalog, but I’ve been trying to learn for a really long time. During my free time, I like to play video games, watch YouTube videos, sew, dance, and learn new languages. I also love to listen to music, so you’ll almost always see me with earbuds on (most likely blasting P!ATD or NCT). I might be quiet at first, but once you get to know me I become a completely different person. For other references to my personality, I’m a Scorpio, ISFJ, and Hufflepuff. I hope we all have a great rest of the semester together!
