Hi! My name is Seoyeong Lee but I made people call me Hailey. I was born in South Korea and moved to Fresh Meadows, Queens four years ago. Although I learned English as a second language in school, I never spoke it in my daily life so I had some struggle with getting used to speaking and listening in English.
As I moved here, math and science became easier for me so I began to have interest in them. I’m currently registered as an Environmental Engineering major but I’m planning to switch into Chemical Engineering because chemical engineers involve in a various interesting field such as chemicals, fuel, drugs, food, and many other products and they have more job opportunities.
I played fencing and table tennis in my high school. However, I don’t play sports anymore since I got tired from school work and commute. My commute used to be 3 minutes during my high school years so I am still not used to a long and tiring commute. When I get home, I do my homework, listen to music(mostly K-pop), and read light novels. I love eating Pho, Ramen, and Malatang. I like to stay home and sleep but I also enjoy hanging out with friends. I’m usually quiet in front of a group of people but when I get closer to you I will be talking more and become a sincere friend. I hope to get to know you guys better!
