What originally drew you to graffiti art?
I just grew up with it. Lots of people I knew and my friends were into it. I always loved art, and having those people around me just made me really get into graffiti.
When viewing throwups and basic tagging, some artists see pure vandalism by people who haven’t taken the time to perfect their craft, while others see it an “artist in the making.” What are your thoughts on this issue?
I love piecing, but I do all kinds of graf. There’s nothing like going bombing every now and then. I’ll do the occasional throwup, but I like to go big when it comes to bombing.
Where do you most often practice your skills? If you have painted at 5 Pointz, what was your experience like?
I work all over the Bronx and in the city as well. 5 pointz was nice, but I had to use a ladder to finish my piece. I prefer staying on the floor.
Where do you draw your current inspiration when deciding what to draw next?
Anything that comes to me. I just feel it. Whenever I write, I give the best I have at that very moment.
