walking down Broadway shows the variety of Asian, mostly Chinese supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. One example is the New Golden Sparkling Supermarket on Broadway between Justice and 51st Avenues. Traffic between Queens Boulevard and 51st Avenue during early afternoon hours, especially on weekends is immense. This is usually the time that most residents on and around Broadway shop for groceries. Also notable are the bakeries and teashops before 51st Avenue. Also of particular interest is the Amerasia bank located on Broadway and Justice Avenue. This bank serves to transfer money between the U.S. and Asian countries (mainly China). It is also a very popular bank among Chinese residents, judging from the Chinese characters on their website.
