Contemporary British Drama: London 2010

For information on last year’s study abroad in London, England, also with Hunter College, see my other eportfolio.

It is lovely and will help you get all the jokes I’m sure I’ll be putting up in the coming weeks haha (including things such as “the sweatshirt I wore all of last year still smells like England.” Which, believe me, it does)

My name is Christina Squitieri. I am currently in my 4th year at the Macaulay Honors College; my home campus is Brooklyn College. I am a double major in Political Science and Creative Writing with a Minor in Classics. I love Renaissance Literature, particularly Shakespeare.

This January 2011, thanks to Macaulay’s Opportunities Fund, I will be studying abroad with Hunter College, participating in their Italian Renaissance program. For three weeks, I will be studying everything from Petrarch to Machiavelli in the beautiful Florence, Italy.

And, unlike last year’s Contemporary British Drama course, I will be seeing the *actual* David, not the V&A’s replica 😉

It will be a blast! Expect updates fewer and farther between than last year, however. I won’t have internet access from my classroom or hotel, so depending on when I can hit the Internet Cafes, I might not be posting so often. But, I promise there will be plenty of pictures (eventually).
