Hi class! we have a great opportunity to see some rehearsals at the Met Opera for free.  Check out this note from Joe Ugoretz:

The first is Wednesday, November 3, at 11 AM.  This is a unique opportunity, because it’s a “working” or “stop-and-go” rehearsal of Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, where the director and cast will be working closely with one segment of the opera, polishing and shaping.

The second is Monday, January 17, at 11 AM.  This is during the January break, on Martin Luther King Day, so your seminar will be over, but you won’t be occupied with other classes or studies.  This one is a final dress rehearsal, just like the “real thing,” of Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra.

Sounds like an amazing opportunity! Enjoy!
