Writing a discussion question Your question has more to it than you thought!

Even if it isn’t required or it’s just for my own research, I like a three-part structure when asking a discussion question: broad issue, specific examples, connect for audience. For example, this structure might look like asking a question about the broad issue (“how to bring together the world for a climate policy?”), followed by a few sentences to demonstrate a specific example that you had in mind, then connecting those examples to the original concept/issue raised in the first question.

I’ve seen lot of questions about the nature of compromise to enact environmental policies or solutions, namely: is it possible? In the rest of this post, I want to offer an example of devising a discussion question accompanied by a specific example to help demonstrate the format. As always, your feedback is valuable!
