Barney and I

Sorry Jakub, I had to post it. The art form I tried this weekend is affiliated with Ben Heine. I am not exactly sure if he created the form, but he has done several pieces like this one. He travels to various countries in order to take unique photographs. Unlike my version, his images depict him actually holding the sketch over the photograph. I didn’t want to completely imitate his technique but liked the concept a lot so I tried it.

    I was looking through the gallery and its remarkable how well he blends the sketch into the photograph; it really looks like its part of the picture!

    His art is extremely witty, which makes it even more interesting to look at.

      Oooo…nice one Michelle. I really like it! This artist has some unique talents that I haven’t seen in other artists.
      There are also many more on the website that are just as mind-blowing! 🙂

      True!! It is indeed VERY realistic. I can’t believe how accurate he’s able to match two different worlds–paper and reality! 🙂
