Signing Up the Course Page: To register for the course, you must first get an eportfolio username. You can do this by clicking on the ‘build your portfolio’ on this page. Click here for a video offering more instructions.
Responding to a Prompt: When asked to post something, log into the site (you should ‘add me’ using the username and password you just got via email), go to the ‘dashboard,’ and follow these instructions:
1) be sure you’re in the dashboard
2) click add new
3) give your post a title
4) type your response
5) click the box for the appropriate category (in the image above it’s ‘blog/responses’ but it could be ‘assignment #2’ or whatever is appropriate)
6) hit publish
And that should be it!
Persevere–remember it’s probably not that the website is doing something strange, just that you haven’t figured it out yet, and that you will, and then it will all seem easy.
