Sculpture

One day I walked all the way home to my dorm from school. On the way I saw a lot of interesting things, but nothing really caught my attention in a lasting way. That was until I saw a building with something a little strange. You see, this building had a little area that was inconsistent with the rest. While the rest of the building was made of gray stone, this one little spot was a multitude of colors. I crossed the street to get a closer look and found the building was missing a brick, and in place of that brick were a bunch of legos made into its shape. I thought this was brilliant! It was by far one of the most creative pieces of art I had ever seen and I greatly admired that. I was so curious about the piece that I did some research when I got home. I found a site called Dispatchwork that was about the lego artwork. The site had pictures of many other pieces of the lego patchwork as well as their addresses. I went to many of the places where the art should be, but found that most of it was gone. I think it’s a shame that so much of the work has gone missing, but at least there are pictures of it.
