1) Hurricane Sandy resources and links available online, arrangements can be made through the advisors at the individual campuses, Macaulay Honors College advisors and Drew. Brookdale Dorms for Hunter students are currently closed and there are organizations trying to accommodate the displaced students at the City College Towers and in Brooklyn. Please contact Drew and the campus advisors to get students into housing.

Musician’s Collective- Concert plans, practices are regular, invites to Binghamton, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, ICCA, day-care/community concerts being planned
CUFF- True Delta premiere, full success
Quidditch- Fund-raising for regional if they qualify, YULE ball with NYU,
Movie Club- Movie once a month
Gastronomy- Formal dinner completed, yesterday-pies were made to be sold for charity
Macaulay GA- Paper being completed for the conference.
Theater Group- Open mic was good yesterday, Macaulay-wide food drive collected through campuses being brought to NY Food Bank, reading for Amy’s play-auditions in ??, small play production for students winter, Theater group—Screen a double feature, week before finals?
Improve group- Open mic/ Variety show—Sometime in December, before finals, Cage-Match plans–??
Macaulay Messenger- NCHC National award winners-Boston this week, Journalism workshop
Events recap:
12) OMG Halloween- again a little chaotic with the service sites, Queens had a problem with forms, no updates from Brooklyn; Coney Island had very few people showing up.
Wondering whether this should continue? Maybe relocate to Manhattan? Haunted House here in Macaulay? Party here again?
13) Food Fest- just before sandy, People from the area more than Macaulay students, mostly vegan, a lot of food.
14) Macaulay Open Mic/SING- Sing was cancelled, open mic instead, so money was still raised for Broadway cares, 15+ acts, 40 people, Joe Norton from Broadway Cares came, raised $125, so pretty successful.
15) Housing Works- Cancelled
16) Bryant Park Ice Skating– Thursday 12/20 tentatively, meet-up plans coming here or meeting somewhere else?
17) Potential Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser- Blood and bone marrow drive here at the Macaulay Building—but to the public? Better during January when building has less events going on—Pretty good Idea…lets keep working on this with specifics (proposal in the works)

20) Changes (Clarifying language) were made to the charter and the new charter strengths our efficiency.

Scholars Council Committee- Confirmed through Google Docs, chair voting will be done through survey monkey where people provide the bios (Before thanksgiving)
Macaulay Honors College Council- voting representatives need to be selected-names taken through email and Google doc (Before thanksgiving)

22) Baruch—Weekend classes for make-up dates, classes have resumes
23) Brooklyn- 12/13-12/14 (Wednesday/Thursday Schedules) make-up dates, Sandy related relief efforts are being provided through Brooklyn college facilities, Memorial for Jacob Vogelman and a bench being constructed in his honor, Clubs having events, 2 shows this weekend- Principalities of Sorrows (this Thursday-Saturday) and Cardenio
24) CCNY- 12/13-12/14 make-up dates, registration is starting tomorrow, was a shelter-site for a good portion of the week, events and updates being received through freshmen
25) CSI- unconfirmed make-up dates, partnership with Habitat for Humanities, clean up and donations for sandy relief.
26) Hunter- 12/14 schedules depends on professor for Make-up dates and online work, upset students with Brookdale dorms
27) Lehman- unconfirmed make-up dates/ varied by department, evacuation center within campus, registration scheduled for 11/19, awareness raised for individual events
28) Queens- 12/14 schedules depends on professor for Make-up dates and online work, Gym and dining hall is an evacuation center for rest of the semester, lot of volunteer drive and opportunities
29) Honors classes should be posted to all Macaulay Honors College students through My Macaulay-classes-list the class.
