Our time at the Night at the Museum and the workshop was eye opening. We
were able to hear other people’s different takes on the same piece of art. It was
interesting to hear the different interpretations of paintings, especially when others
bring up something about the painting that you yourself did not notice. We learned
how difficult it is to interpret a painting, especially one of a landscape. For all we
know, the artist could have created the piece of art just for the fun of it. Before this,
some of us had never been encouraged to have a conversation with other people
about a piece of art.
