Our group discussed the paining “Not at Home” by Eastman Johnson. We speculated about the mood of the painting, the contrast of colors, and the implications of these factors regarding the woman’s state of mind. We gained a new confidence in our ability to effectively analyze and discuss art. We surprised ourselves!
