Discussing Nuclear Power (Documentary)  (Link)

This documentary, directed and edited by James McKenzie, showcases the learning conversations present at the café, providing an insight into the format of a citizen science café and types of discussions had at our particular café, as well as some background information about nuclear power.

We researched both the science behind and the politics around nuclear power, and decided that this was a topic that needed to be discussed by as many people as possible, especially young people who will be entering careers harboring new ideas about how to change the world. Thus, we organized a Citizen Science Cafe and gathered a cadre of Citizen Scientists to talk about this important topic.
