10/7 Class trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fifth Avenue at 81st Street. We will meet outside on the steps in front of the entrance at 10:15. Be on time and bring lunch. We will have a class picnic if the weather is decent. Plan to end by 2:00.
9/30 Begin reading and responding on the blog to Amy Waldman’s novel, The Submission. Due dates are as follows: Complete Part 1 by Oct. 3, part 2 by Oct. 7, and part 3 by Oct. 10. We will be discussing the novel in class on Oct. 6 and 11.
9/11 Attend, watch or participate in an event that commemorates the 10th anniversary. Then describe your experiences on “What I did on 9/11” under Responses. Be prepared to tell us about your experience in class on 9/13.
