The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) application is now open, and once again this year, Queens College is a partner institution. This means that eligible students may apply for scholarships of up to $5,000. The foundation also offers scholarship winners opportunities for academic advising, career guidance, and the chance to connect with current students and former scholarship winners from other campuses.
To be eligible you must:
- Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by The U.S. Census.
- Be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the U.S. or a citizen of the U.S. Freely Associated States.
- Be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree program at Queens College during the 2016 Spring Semester.
- Have applied for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), although you do not necessarily have to be receiving federal aid.
