Although currently suspended globally, the Fulbright U.S. Student program is continuing to plan for the next application cycle. Queens College students have been very successful in Fulbright competitions and have deeply valued their overseas experiences and the process of applying. The Fellowships office is currently working on a presentation featuring QC Fulbrighters and we will provide further details as they are finalized.
We are also very fortunate to have Lee Rivers from the Institute of International Education lead a virtual information session on the Fulbright program on Wednesday, April 1, and registration details will be sent via QCMailers.
During these times of distance activities, IIE’s extensive online resources will be extremely useful as you think about applying for a Fulbright. Here are a few webinars you might find particularly helpful.
- Getting Started – Selecting Award Type (April 13th)
- Introduction to Study/Research Awards (April 15th)
- Introduction to English Teaching Assistant Awards (April 17th)
- Introduction to Graduate Degree Enrollment Awards (April 20th)
- Introduction to Arts Awards (April 21st)
Please continue to check this blog for further information, and feel free to contact the Fellowships office or Dr. Egan directly with your questions.
