discussion leaders schedule and guidelines

class, you can find the schedule of discussion leaders posted under course info (and also at the discussion page).  (if you did not sign up for a slot i will add you to the schedule when i see you in class.)  i will leave it to you to decide who will be responsible for which readings, unless you prefer that i make the assignments.  the guidelines for discussion leaders are similar to those for posting comments: not so much a summary as your reaction.  what did you find to be the most important themes, issues, arguments, etc?  what did you like or dislike about your reading?  how does it relate to other issues from class or current events?  etc.  finally, what question would you like to pose to the class for discussion?  your comments can be very informal, let’s say 5 min tops.  and of course no need to post written comments for the week you are serving as discussion leader.  thanks, ar
