class, just a reminder that our exam will take place from 9:30-10:45. fyi, my policy on make-ups is this : i do give make-up exams for those who need them. the catch is that the make-up exam will be more difficult than scheduled exam: you will be required to write two essays with no choice of topics; and, because i have to write new questions, the questions may be somewhat less obviously related to the material. i strongly recommend, therefore, that you take the scheduled exam if at all possible. if you absolutely require the make-up exam you must notify me no later than the day of the scheduled exam. you will have one opportunity to take the make-up on a rescheduled date.
