thanks for posting readings and thoughtful questions. in addition to the news articles you have posted it might be useful to include a scholarly research article that raises some bigger issues, includes more analysis and a thesis, etc. do you have such an article that you could post? the link below is an example of the type of journal article you could use. (also, fyi Diane Ravitch is a very prominent scholar and she would be a good resource on NYC education.)
